Collecting demographic data for the EU aquaculture sector: What can we learn?

The EU aquaculture industry is a politically prioritized as shown in the EU's Farm to Fork Strategy. political objectives include biological, economic and social sustainability of industry. However, while lot attention has been paid importance environmental impact from sector, there less focus on dimension. This paper contributes development dimension by providing baseline employment structure sector. done producing first coherent overview sector presenting demographic information gender, age, education nationality. Data are further provided country, production technology, (marine, fresh water, shellfish). results show that dominated employees citizens same country they employed, male, between 40 64 years old, have low medium level education.
